Samsung has confirmed that its new Samsung Galaxy S22 series of smartphones has been well received in all regions of the world. In particular, record sales of about $200 million were recorded in India.
The company is currently focused on the Galaxy S and Fold smartphone lines, which account for about 20% of total phone sales in India. The price of the Galaxy S22 series in this region starts at $930 and goes up to $1440.

The other day, Samsung held the #EpicUnboxing event with the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which took place on March 5th. More than 1,820 people took part in it and pre-booked the Galaxy S22 Ultra in 17 different cities, setting a new Guinness World Record.
Raju Pullan, senior vice president and head of sales and retail at Samsung, said that demand for flagship devices is strong and the company is confident of meeting its targets despite persistent chip shortages. He also added, “Samsung’s overall sales have grown markedly in 2021, and we expect stronger growth this year thanks to the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy S.”
