The drive will use V6 TLC NAND flash memory. Life is claimed as one full rewrite capability per day during the warranty period. In this respect, the new product will be similar to the currently available PM9A3 model equipped with a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface. However, if the PM9A3 drive is made in the E1.S frame size, then the E3.S 1T frame size of single width (111.5 × 31.5 mm) is selected for the PM1743, which is in demand in servers.
