According to IC Insight, Samsung will rank # 1 in semiconductor sales in the second quarter of this year, overthrowing Intel. While Intel’s sales are declining, Samsung has steadily ramped up sales over the past few years.
In terms of semiconductor sales in the first quarter of 2021, Samsung earned $ 17.1 billion, while Intel received $ 18.7 billion in the same period.
