Samsung Electronics today introduced not the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip3 smartphones, the Galaxy Buds2 headphones and the Galaxy Watch4 smartwatches, but also the Galaxy for the Planet program for the further “sustainable” development of mobile devices.

Samsung has set initial targets to be met by 2025 to reduce environmental impact and reduce resource depletion at all stages, from manufacturing to recycling Galaxy products.
So, by 2025, Samsung is going to start using recycled materials in all new mobile products, completely eliminate all plastic from the packaging of mobile devices, reduce standby power consumption of all smartphone chargers to below 0.005W, and also reduce the amount of e-waste.
Samsung notes that it has already successfully reduced the standby power consumption of all smartphone chargers to 0.02W, one of the lowest in the mobile industry.
After 2025, the company is not going to be satisfied with what has already been achieved and will set itself new tasks.
