The other day, Samsung held the #EpicUnboxing event with the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which took place on March 5th. More than 1,820 people took part in it and pre-booked the Galaxy S22 Ultra in 17 different cities, setting a new Guinness World Record.
This world record was set for the most people unpacking smartphones in multiple places at the same time. The South Korean tech giant recently set another record when the Galaxy S22 series recorded 100,000 pre-orders in just 72 hours.

In the limited edition box, customers receive a Galaxy Watch4 smartwatch and another gift in the form of Galaxy Buds2 headphones. The world record is set ahead of the launch of the Galaxy S22 series in India, which will officially go on sale on March 11.
This is a really big day for us and I’m very proud to be part of the team that organized this record-breaking event in 17 cities. I am grateful to all of our consumers and fans who have come together to make this a truly historic day for Samsung. Thanks to #EpicUnboxing, we’re officially in the Guinness World Records, and we’re thrilled to be able to celebrate this epic achievement with our fans.
