Samsung smartphones have learned to find Wi-Fi dead zones. If you can look

In early August, Samsung launched beta testing of the new One UI 5.0 firmware based on Android 13. In addition to numerous cosmetic changes, the firmware also brought new features – some hidden deep in the settings and were not immediately known. One of these was the Wi-Fi diagnostic option, which was noticed by an Android Police subscriber. This is reported by SamMobile.

New tools are hidden in the settings in the truest sense of the word – to access them, you need to quickly click on the Intelligent Wi-Fi item 10 times. Only after that the Wi-Fi developer options menu will appear (“Wi-Fi Tools for Developers”), where all the necessary functions will be.

In the hidden menu, the user has access to various Wi-Fi diagnostic tools, information about the quality of the connected network, and signals from nearby (that is, neighboring) routers. You can also see the history of all activity in the form of graphs or just the activity registered by the router. According to SamMobile, all this data will help, for example, track Wi-Fi dead zones and see the amount of data being processed in the background.
