Samsung surprises Galaxy S8 owners with unexpected software update

Despite the fact that support for the flagship smartphones Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 + has long expired, Samsung surprised Galaxy S8 owners with an unexpected software update.

The South Korean company has released a security patch for smartphones that will celebrate their 5th anniversary early next year, back in September, and now they have received another security update. The firmware has version number G95xFXXUCDUK1 and is already available for some users in Europe, and will appear in other regions in the next few days. The patch brings with it the November 2021 security patch and also fixes some bugs. To manually check for updates on your Galaxy S8, go to Settings> Software Update and click Download and Install.
