And while Samsung hasn’t said anything about what it will produce at its new plant, it is believed that the company will be able to manufacture SoCs and chips on it in accordance with the norms of the 3nm technological process: Samsung Foundry has enough customers in the United States who have come in handy would be such products. These include such large companies as IBM, Nvidia, Qualcomm and Tesla.

Samsung’s current plan, presented to the Texas government, includes a 65-hectare chip factory on a 259-hectare site. The new plant will be located next to the existing Samsung S2 plant, which manufactures products according to the standards of technological processors 14 and 11 nm. This also means that the Korean company is not going to modernize its old American plant.
