Back in 2016, Samsung launched the free TV Plus streaming service for its smart TVs. For four years, Samsung has been providing the service free of charge. The service was launched on Galaxy smartphones last September.
Earlier this year, Samsung also launched the service in 12 new countries, but kept an important condition: you must have a Samsung smart TV or Galaxy smartphone to access this free streaming service. However, the company has now made the service available in supported countries via a web interface for users of any device.
Samsung actually launched the web version of the Samsung TV Plus service in May, but hasn’t made any announcements on the matter, the source said. A Samsung spokesman has now confirmed that the web version of TV Plus was launched in the second quarter.

Users can now access Samsung TV Plus whether they have a Samsung device or not. True, the service is not yet available in all countries of the world (Russia and Ukraine are not yet on the list), but Samsung promises to expand the list of supported countries this year.
The service offers over 160 channels and already has Chromecast support for broadcasting content to a TV or projector.
