Samsung updated flagship tablets and introduced the monstrous Tab S8 Ultra

It was the active pen that received a major dose of updates. First, the latency has been reduced to 6.2ms, while the Ultra’s is down to 2.8ms. Secondly, the stylus recognizes the degree of pressure, which will come in handy when creating graphic sketches or even full-fledged paintings. The tip has also been redesigned, it has become softer (0.7 F) and now it will definitely not cause scratches on the glass. Samsung Notes for note-taking, PENUP for coloring, and Clip Studio Paint with 50,000 brushes for painting.

In terms of screens, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S8+ received 14.6-inch and 12.4-inch sAMOLED matrices, respectively. The younger Galaxy Tab S8 is content with an 11-inch LTPS matrix, and this also makes sense – some people’s eyes get tired of OLED. All tablets have a refresh rate of 120Hz. By the way, watching movies and videos is accompanied by four AKG speakers with Dolby Atmos.

The use of Qualcomm Snapdragon has already become a tradition for Samsung’s flagship tablets. This time, the older Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip (SM8450) built at 4nm is used. Basic versions are content with 8 GB of RAM with 128 or 256 GB of ROM. While the amount of RAM Ultra-version can reach an impressive 16 GB with 512 GB of internal memory.
