Samsung was not allowed to supply screens for the next-generation foldable smartphone Huawei Mate X2

The foldable screens for the Huawei Mate X2 were supposed to be supplied by Samsung and BOE, however, supply chain sources confirmed that the South Korean company was unable to supply displays for the new flagship.

The fact is that Samsung has not received permission from the US Department of Commerce to do business with Huawei, so only the Chinese manufacturer BOE will supply displays for the Huawei Mate X2.
