Samyang has announced that the VDSLR MK2 series lenses are optimized for cinematography and are now available with Canon’s RF mount.
The VDSLR MK2 lineup was released last August. It includes five manual focus prime lenses: 14mm T3.1, 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.5, 50mm T1.5 and 85mm T1.5. Each of them is available in several versions, differing in mounting. Even at the time of the announcement, the manufacturer promised to release variants with the Canon RF mount.
Due to the design of the Canon RF mount, the new variants differ slightly in length from the variants with Canon EF, Canon M, Fuji X, Micro Four Thirds, Nikon F and Sony E mounts.
The Samyang VDSLR MK2 retail price ranges from $ 649 to $ 899.
