Samyang has announced the release of the AF 35mm F1.4 FE II lens. It represents the second generation of the previously released model equipped with Sony E mount and supports auto focus.
The updated autofocus lens uses a linear stepper motor, according to Samyang, optimized for video shooting by reducing vibration and noise. Focusing is fast, accurate and quiet. Other advantages include the presence of a focus lock button and a programmable on/off switch.
