Yandex began to comply with the requirements of Roskomnadzor regarding Google – in the search results, Google resources are now marked as violators of Russian law.

Recall that yesterday Roskomnadzor announced that it was taking action against Google “for numerous violations of Russian law.” Companies were banned from advertising in Russia, and search engines were required to put flags about the violator. “Sanctions” cover all Google information resources, including branded search, Google Play online app store, YouTube video platform, YouTube Music, Google Chat messenger and Gmail email service.

Now in the search results of Yandex there are such notes “Roskomnadzor: the site violates the legislation of the Russian Federation” for Google and its services.

The press service of Yandex explained:
According to the law “on landing”, we are obliged to inform users in the search results that the owner of this resource violates the legislation of the Russian Federation, if such a measure is introduced by Roskomnadzor. Today we received a request from the RKN obliging us to show such a badge.”
