Sanremo 2022: from Cesare Cremonini to Jennifer Lopez, the toto-guests

Day after day, the Sanremo Festival 2022, the third led by Amadeus and the second threatened by the pandemic, takes shape and color. After unveiling the 24 Big players who will compete for the victory this year and the 5 co-hosts who will compete on the Ariston stage from 1 to 5 February, all that remains is to undo one last knot: that of the guests. At the moment, the only confirmed is Checco Zalone, who, after having declined the invitation several times in the past, has decided to intervene during an evening not yet revealed, while the others continue to unleash a quadrille of names so varied that it makes us dizzy. Let’s go, however, in order.

According to theAnsa, in Sanremo 2022 we will definitely see Cesare Cremonini, fresh from the release of the single Hummingbird which anticipates the album The girl of the future that we will listen to on February 25th: a great blow for Amadeus after Tiziano Ferro’s exploit in 2020. Although many took it for sure, also because of his involvement as the author of the song by Gianni Morandi – the same one that risked expulsion for having been partially shared on Facebook due to an inattention by Morandi -, Jovanotti, a longtime friend of Amadeus and Fiorello, made it known that he won’t be there again this year: “I have to be the author of Morandi, I’m focused on this and I don’t have the head”, explained Lorenzo Cherubini to Radio Subasio, while another international name, an always much debated chapter at the Festival, appears in the toto-guests: that of Jennifer Lopez, who already went to the Ariston in 2010.

Too bad that the hopes of being able to see J.Lo in Sanremo, especially due to the pandemic, are very remote: the singer is in promotion with the film Marry Me where he plays alongside Owen Wilson and Maluma – in Italy it will be released on February 14 -, but it is very difficult for him to decide to move from the States given the ongoing health emergency. Here, then, are some new names advanced by Economy, which speaks of a possible detour of Maria De Filippi, that Sanremo co-led it together with Carlo Conti in 2017, of Elodie, and of Frida Bollani. Names not yet confirmed as well as that of Can Yaman, which the rumors wanted at the Festival as early as 2021. In short, as usual, many hypotheses and no certainties: we just have to wait to find out what Amadeus will have in store for us.
