By tradition, we know that the third evening of the Sanremo Festival is the coolest of the five, halfway between the discovery of the songs of all the Big players in the competition and the rich dish offered by the covers and duets on Friday. This is why Amadeus chose to be escorted, right on the third evening, by the revelation co-host of this Festival, the one we knew would not disappoint us even before discovering what she would do on stage: let’s talk about Drusilla Foer, the character created by the intelligence of Gianluca Gori who in Sanremo attracted the preventive criticism of Pillon and the enthusiasm of the public who had the opportunity to appreciate his talent in the theater and in various television broadcasts, fromExtrafactor at the Republic of women. Those who have not had the opportunity to see it before, managed to appreciate it in Sanremo for the elegance of the movements as well as for the self-irony and a tenderness capable of melting even the coldest of heart. Like the caress and the kiss stolen from Michele Bravi when the latter told her that seeing her at the Ariston was the triumph of meritocracy.

However, there was also a good dose of improvisation necessary for the survival of any self-respecting artist. Like Iva Zanicchi who, when she told Drusilla that she had something more than her height, was forced to collect the best answer that Drusilla could give her: “I’m cultured”. The third evening of the Festival, beyond the exploit of Foer who, at this point, we hope will be able to bring her show Very elegant on television, perhaps on Rai3, has managed to pull the pace also thanks to the bursting energy of Cesare Cremonini who, dressed Armani, offered a medley of his most timeless hits and his freshest hits, proving to be a performer capable of devouring the stage with a spoon, dragging the audience into a wave of contagious euphoria that, from the Ariston, spread up to the armchairs of our house. There were, however, even moments of reflection: like the monologue that Roberto Saviano created to commemorate the thirty years of the Capaci massacre and the intervention of the young woman Martina Pigliapoco, the 26-year-old carabiniera who, in October 2021, managed to make a woman desist from throwing herself off a Tibetan bridge after a discussion of about three hours.

Daniele VenturelliAs for the music, the third evening saw the performance of all 25 Big players in the competition, closing at two in the morning. The general classification, the result of the sum of the Televoto and the Survey 1000, confirmed what many hoped, ie the first place of Mahmood and Blanco who, also in this round, after having smashed a first record on Spotify, offered an unforgettable performance, capable of breaking screens and celebrating a free and fluid love. Behind them, however, they pop up Elisa, which came first in the ranking of the Press Office drawn up during the first two evenings, e Gianni Morandi, now completely at ease in Sanremo despite his long absence from the competition. Some songs deserved a higher ranking and others a lower position but, on the other hand, if everything went smoothly in Sanremo it wouldn’t be Sanremo, or maybe it wasn’t clear?
