Sanremo 2023: the ranking of the first two evenings

The jury of the Press Room has expressed itself, deciding the very first provisional ranking of the first two evenings of Sanremo Music Festival 2023. After listening to the first 14 artists during the evening of Tuesday 7 February and the remaining 14 on the evening of Thursday 8, the journalists expressed their preference by looking positively at two artists in particular: Marco Mengoni, given as a favorite according to Sisal, and Colapesce Dimartinoreturning to Sanremo after the success of Very light music from two years ago. However, Madame, Elodie, Lazza also stand out – who at the moment seems to have the song most likely to become a hit in her hands – and, surprisingly, Tananai, very far from the last place conquered in 2022 thanks to her Tango.

Some positions, however, seem decidedly unexpected. Like Giorgia, who settles for eighth place with the marvelous Bad words, and especially, Last, who from the podium that everyone seems certain he conquered even slips to tenth place. Excellent placement for Rosa Chemical (ninth), with a song that will surely be talked about, while we were hoping for something more Paula and Clare, for the moment they are still in fourteenth place even if theirs Fury it will surely be the hit of next summer. The ranking is closed by two new proposals – Shari and Sethu -, while Anna Oxa gains two positions from the bottom. Naturally we are still in the initial stages: Sanremo will come alive with the third evening which will be judged 50% by the Press Office and the remaining 50 by the Demoscopic Jury, and we will begin to see some good things.
