Sanremo 2025, from Achille Lauro to Elodie, the reaction of the competing singers

Carlo Conti, the host of the 2025 Sanremo Festival, announced the competing singers on TG1 at 1.30pm on Sunday 1 December. And it’s an immediate shock: there are not twenty-four, as previously announced, but thirty: «At least another ten would have deserved to be in the race», he reiterated several times.

And so we will see them all on the Ariston stage from 11 to 15 February 2025, but in the meantime, the first reactions appear on social media.

The reactions of the competing singers

Everyone did it in their own way: there were those who spoke at length, those who didn’t write anything, but posted eloquent photos, those who shot real videos and those who showed the reaction to the announcement live.

Elodiewhich is participating for the third time, after 2017 with All my faultand 2020 with Andromedamade a collage of the many allusions that implied his participation in the Festival.

Achille Lauro he quoted a verse from his song I don’t care and writes «I fell for it again, Sanremo 2025», confirming his presence after that of 2019 (with Rolls Royce), of 2020 (with I don’t care) and 2022 (with Sunday).

Fedezwho returns to the Festival with a completely different life (the last time, in 2023, he kissed Rosa Chemical and his ex-wife Chiara Ferragni was co-host), focuses on minimal: the photo is in black and white, he doesn’t look in the room and writes a very terse «See you in Sanremo».

In the same style Gaiawho also looks to the side and writes “See you on the Riviera”.

Of few words too Irama (“see you in February”) e Tony Effewho gets away with a «Tony Sanremo» with a photo taken there on the spot.

While Naomi focuses on feelings and the connection with the public: «An immense emotion; I can’t wait to let you hear it”:

THE Coma_Cose they write a long post, in which you can feel all the trepidation and happiness: «THERE IS NO TWO WITHOUT THREE…SEA OF HAPPINESS! We are super excited to return to Sanremo… No spoilers but we can tell you one thing: we experienced the first one with the right amount of recklessness, it was all new and it was wonderful to feel the affection of the public who got to know us through the Festival, the second was much more intense, both because of the touching piece and because we were recovering from a big personal crisis. (maybe not exactly in this order) think about taking it to Ariston… AND IT’S HAPPENING! Now we run to call relatives and friends and from tomorrow we start with the preparations… we can’t wait for it to be February already and for all those who are believing in us, know that you will be on that stage too, this post can therefore close only with a thank you… to those who have been there since day zero, to those who are there and to those who will be there.”
