Santa Catarina holds this Sunday (18) a State Disaster Management Simulated . The action, which takes place in more than 250 municipalities of Santa Catarina, mobilizes about 250,000 people, including residents, volunteers and professionals from various institutions, testing the state’s response capacity to emergencies. The simulated should end at 17h, and includes bowel movements, installation of shelters and educational actions.
Coordinated by State Secretariat of Protection and Civil Defense (SPDC) and executed by Coordinated Action Groups (GRACS) the simulated It has the support of several institutions, such as the Fire Department, police, universities and the Florianópolis International Airport.
The main objective of the measure is to strengthen the integration between organs involved in the disaster management besides promoting the culture of prevention with the population.
