Santiment: According to GitHub data, Cardano continues to grow rapidly

Blockchain research company Santiment reports that the bearish market trend has not affected the development of the Cardano network, which continues to see explosive growth.

The data aggregator shows an impressive number of repositories in GitHub Cardano (ADA), analysts say, compared to fewer tools from the Flow Layer 1 protocol (FLOW), the Polkadot internetworking protocol (DOT), its testnet sister Kusama (KSM), and the leading platform smart contracts Ethereum (ETH).

“According to our analysis of code submissions, problematic interactions and more, we consider Cardano the most developed asset in the crypto industry. The team does not carry out traditional updates, ensuring that only relevant developments are included,” Santiment emphasized.

The analytical agency three weeks ago first announced the rapid pace of development of Cardano, citing data collected about the blockchain from GitHub. Santiment CTO Valentin Mihov explained why it is important to track and analyze the activity of projects on GitHub:

“Developer time is a relatively expensive resource, and if, as in this project, a lot of developers dedicate their time and skills to developing the project, it may mean that they believe the project will succeed and offer more features. At the same time, it is less likely that the project is just a scam. ”

In early July, the Cardano developers launched the Vasil update on the project’s testnet. The company behind the Cardano cryptocurrency, IOG (formerly known as IOHK), called on developers, exchanges, and staking pool operators to launch their projects after a successful testnet hard fork.
Recall that Cardano was previously accused of slow development and implementation of solutions for the development of the ecosystem. Last month, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said that the recent collapse of Terra proved the ineffectiveness of the explosive growth strategy, when the system expands uncontrollably and, after reaching a peak, collapses.
