Analyst firm Santiment reported that the developers have made 140,000 “activities” in the Cardano project on the GitHub portal. This is the highest figure among cryptocurrency projects.

The second most active developer was Kusama, an experimental network of the Polkadot project. The developers themselves call Kusama “an early and untested version of the protocol.” The third place was taken by the Polkadot project itself.
Earlier, the founder of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson, said that 127 projects are currently being developed on the basis of the network. Hoskinson also said that he does not see the growth of decentralized applications based on Cardano. He attributes this to the delay in the Goguen update, which has added support for smart contracts to the Cardano network.
