Santorini Sky: luxury to the nth degree

Perhaps there was no need for another luxury resort in Santorini at all. It is a splendid island, but with prices almost touching those of the Maldives. Of course it is no longer 2004, when the film was released What will become of us with a very young Silvio Muccino who was invoking an unforgettable trip to Greece at the end of high school.

There the boys slept in a house with mattresses directly on the floor, fell in love, rode on a motorbike and spent the holiday with two pennies in their pockets.

Going to Santorini was like going on an adventure. He only bought the bridge passage and then he would surely find a place to sleep, at a low price and for all budgets. Now, however, Ryanair has launched a new one Covid-19 Travel Wallet which is only available in the Ryanair app. Customers can upload their negative PCR tests, Covid vaccination certificates and other Covid documents that may be required for travel to the EU this summer. And so, at the opening of sales for summer flights, tickets have been snapped up.

And here a new super luxury resort was born in Santorini. Santorini Sky is a luxury boutique resort, consisting of eight magnificent private villas perched on the beautiful Aegean Sea. After completing an intense 3-year construction project, Santorini Sky looks across the island from the top of Prophet Elijah’s mountain. It is the highest point in Santorini, at 2,000 feet above sea level. Each villa offers sensational panoramic views, indoor and outdoor showers and a private terrace with Jacuzzi. The Master Villa also boasts the highest infinity pool on the island.

Away from the main tourist spots, this is the place to come for the ultimate in privacy and relaxation. While guests will feel on top of the world, the villas are only a five-minute drive from the winding streets, local shops and famous taverns of Pyrgos. For a holiday in perfect privacy, the villa with private pool will make your holiday unforgettable.

The development of the property fell to the famous architect Vassilis Zorzos. Growing up in Santorini, he wanted to create something truly special and different that blended perfectly with the landscape. Vassilis also committed to using local materials wherever possible. The limestone rock carved into the ground now forms the stone masonry of the property. Local Greek marble created the luxurious kitchens and bathrooms, and native plants make up the expansive landscape.

From the very beginning, Santorini Sky has been dedicated to limiting environmental impact. From ecological bathroom products to rugs made from recycled water bottles. There is a fruit and vegetable garden to help create seasonal breakfasts for guests, and rainwater is also collected in cisterns for reuse on the property.

Guests have the option of personalize their vacation prior to their arrival, choosing from a range of locally sourced products and services. The price for one night? It ranges from 299 to 700 euros!
