São Paulo has a minimum of 7ºC and thermal sensation reaches -4ºC

The city of São Paulo recorded the lowest average temperature of the year, with thermometers marking 7ºC at the beginning of this Wednesday (18). In the Congonhas airport region, the thermal sensation reached -4ºC, according to the City Hall Climate Emergency Management Center (CGE).

The sky continues with clear skies during the day, but temperatures are not expected to rise. The maximum forecast for this Wednesday is 14°C, but winds that can exceed 50 km/h help to increase the feeling of cold.

The lowest average minimum in the entire history of the CGE of the City of São Paulo occurred on 07/30/2021 with 3.2°C. The absolute lowest, measured in a single location, was recorded in Parelheiros, South Zone, on 07/30/2021 with -3°C.

The forecast for Thursday (19) is for stable weather with a predominance of sun and a feeling of cold. Minimum of 7°C at dawn and maximum of 16°C in the afternoon. At night, the amount of clouds increases, but there is no forecast of rain.
