Ms Chapman’s body was found by police in her apartment in Dallas, Texas, where she had moved just five months ago in the company of her new husband, James Patrick. Police have not revealed details about how Chapman was killed, but her family said authorities were alerted after she failed to show up at work. The sister spoke of the “toxic” nature of the relationship between the woman and the suspect. “It was difficult, we were all aware of it,” she told NBC.
