Sarah Michelle Gellar is open to the revival of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”

Sarah Michelle Gellar 47, famous for playing Buffy in the series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer “, stated that he is interested in a possible revival of the supernatural series.

Currently, the actress is in the cast of “Dexter: Original Sin”, the prequel to the series starring Michael C. Hall.

She continued: “I think, unlike Dexter, a Buffy revival could be anything. It’s a universe that makes us realize that, in this world, we need these heroes, more than ever .”

Set in Miami in 1991, the plot of “Dexter: Original Sin” follows Dexter in his transition from student to serial killer. When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, he must learn to channel his inner darkness, according to the synopsis..

The production stars Patrick Gibson (“The OA”). Names like Christian Slater (“Death Attraction”), Christina Milian (“Amor da Aluguel”) and more make up the cast. Michael C. Hall who played Dexter in the original series, which aired from 2006 to 2013, returns as Dexter’s inner voice.

Patrick Dempsey (“Grey’s Anatomy”) and Sarah Michelle Gellar (“Buffy – The Vampire Slayer” are also in the cast.
