We are sailing towards the middle of June, the month that officially inaugurates the summer and makes the longed-for holidays feel closer and closer, and which also marks the peak of the official season of weddings and ceremonies. Of course, even if the news coming from the world is not always all roses, to cheer us up there is nothing better than a good dose of shopping to style your wardrobe with something brand new and, perhaps, porte-bonheurbuying both online and in physical stores, and throwing a strategic eye on the strongest trends of the moment.
Even if the health emergency is not completely over and the geopolitical scenarios do not make us rest assured, it is also good to think about something else, preparing ourselves for when this period can finally be considered really just a bad memory.

adidas x Gucci
On June 7, the long-awaited collaboration between Gucci and adidas finally arrived in stores, previewed on the Exquisite Gucci catwalk, which combines the codes of the Maison with those of the historic German sportswear brand. In the collection, Alessandro Michele’s kaleidoscopic aesthetics transcends gender distinctions and contaminates ready-to-wear garments as well as bags, footwear, accessories, jewelry and lifestyle items (including a must-have golf bag for lovers of the green). The distinctive trait of the GG monogram and the intertwined G that appear together with the Trefoil, printed on colorful jacquard fabrics, makes each item recognizable, while the green and red Gucci Web ribbon acts as a counterpoint to the three adidas stripes. The athletic attitude is mixed with vintage references, lighting up with a palette of saturated colors and tapestry motifs.

Manolo Blahnik for Birkenstock
You don’t change a winning team: after the sold out of the last release, the stylish high-rate colab between Birkenstock and Manolo Blahnik is back. The hybridization between the glam style of the artisan of the shoes of the stars and the iconic Teutonic slippers produces a creative short circuit that is more captivating than ever, with four new models from the serial collection, among which the Rodra, sandals with wraparound bands, stand out with a re-edited silhouette with lively polka dot and PVC interpretations. There is no shortage of Boston, again with graphic stamps, and the Arizona ones are back, made of black and white PVC. The new collection will be available from 23 June on 1774.com, manoloblahnik.com and in selected stores worldwide.

Egnazia workshop
The rarefied refinement of Borgo Egnazia, a deluxe farmhouse in the heart of Puglia, precisely in Savelletri di Fasano, is also distilled without interruption in the proposals of the Bottega Egnazia boutique, which conquers guests with garments that seem to come out of a trunk of yesteryear and represent the best of the local manufacturing tradition. Clothing, accessories, but also home textiles and furnishing accessories: each piece is the result of careful research and special collaborations with the excellences of the territory, and brings with it memories, dreams and plots that speak of ancient times, but they never go out of style.

Dans Les Rues
If there is a word that represents Dans Les Rues, a jewelry brand designed by Martina Mancini & Giorgio Ciccone, it is definitely experimentation. A mix between street and opulence, chaos and quiet that the streets offer (hence the name), a continuous journey between different imaginative worlds. After the fairy and pop mood, the latest inspirations combine clubbing and the 2000s music scene with that of racing. In the Tribal collection, for example, the effect chrome distressed represents an aesthetic reference to racing car rims, while the cusps, an unmistakable leitmotif in all models, recall the movements of the flames and the stems of roses, two typical stylistic features of the # Y2K decade. From this week there is an additional prestigious showcase where you can buy: the Bijoux Market of La Rinascente in Milan, a space entirely dedicated to the world of jewelery right in the heart of Milanese shopping.

Maison Roèl
Name with a French allure, but a Tuscan heart: Maison Roèl, is a beachwear brand designed for women, by a woman, the founder Eleonora Rocchini, with fits designed to enhance the different bodies and a wide and inclusive range of sizes. The new summer collection The 90’s heritage is openly inspired by the past, dusting off prints and fabrics from that decade, but revisited in a modern way. From the crochet top to the minimal triangle, without forgetting the whole, often one shoulder, enriched with precious details and declined in different intense colors. With an eye also to sustainability: several models have been made in Econyl, a synthetic fiber regenerated from plastic materials recovered from the bottom of the oceans.

LABO.ART
Soft, Essential, Comfortable. The Spring-Summer 2022 collection by LABO.ART, the Milanese brand founded by Ludovica Diligu, which designs clothes as wearable architectures, in which lines and geometries become substance for conceptual and at the same time functional models, can be enclosed in these 3 adjectives. The cornerstones of the brand are a quality that lasts over time, the excellence of Made in Italy, the use of natural fibers (cotton, wool and linen in the first place) and the craftsmanship processes, but above all the color, used as a material palette to define cuts and volumes.
