We arrived with no little effort at the beginning of June, the month that officially inaugurates the summer and makes the longed-for holidays feel closer and closer, and which also marks the peak of the official season of weddings and ceremonies. Of course, even if the news coming from the world is not always all roses, to cheer us up there is nothing better than a good dose of shopping to style your wardrobe with something brand new and, perhaps, porte-bonheurbuying both online and in physical stores, and throwing a strategic eye on the strongest trends of the moment.
Even if the health emergency is not completely over and the geopolitical scenarios do not make us rest assured, it is also good to think about something else, preparing ourselves for when this period can finally be considered really just a bad memory.

Max & Co
“Big party at the court of France, there is an extra child in the kingdom, blond hair and pink cheek, Oscar will call you.” Raise your hand if you haven’t seen even one episode of the cartoon written and drawn by the Japanese cartoonist Riyoko Ikeda, starring Lady Oscar, the girl-soldier with a wheat-colored mop and sapphire eyes. This year the manga celebrates its 50th anniversary and Max & Co dedicates a graphic capsule of cropped sweaters to the ante-litteram gender fluid heroine , hooded sweatshirts, t-shirts and caps that will drive the nostalgics of that period (and not only!) crazy.

Pandora
The Pandora ME collection is inspired by the music, energy and freedom of summer festivals, a range of jewels perfect to mix with each other, which thanks to interchangeable elements and the rainbow palette adapt to different styles and occasions of use. From knitted link bracelets to medallions, from mini pendants to multi-chain rings, the jewels can be worn alone or in groupage, for an even more spectacular effect. In 925 Sterling Silver and 14k rose gold plating, they are made precious by the handcrafted finishes: the enamelling and the setting of the diamonds are in fact handmade.

Nike Underwear
After the success of Move to Zero, Nike returns to the limelight with a new Underwear line, designed in an increasingly sustainable way, in which the models are made with at least 75% recycled fibers. The Dri-FIT technology, which keeps the skin dry even in the event of intense physical activity, and the use of four-way stretch fabric, which ensures comfort, support and softness, make boxers, briefs and trunks performing. Testimonial of the campaign for the launch of the range is the 19-year-old Ansu Fati, star of FC Barcelona, who demonstrates how the sports underwear of the brand with the legendary Swoosh is so comfortable that you can even play football in it.

Pier Sicily
The colors of the earth and the Mediterranean Sea, the culture of Trinacria, but also many memories of childhood spent in the South, are distilled in the Pier Sicilia costumes, the beachwear line for now declined only for men and born from an idea by Pierfrancesco Virlinzi . Impeccable cuts made by local tailors, high quality fabrics, material prints and almost obsessive attention to detail, in which every button and every seam is carefully selected. A corollary of the various models are also beach bags with an easy-chic allure in cavas, jute and suede.

Silhouette
Among the essential accessories of the summer season there are undoubtedly sunglasses, essential to protect the eyes from the sun’s rays, but also to give a diva allure to every outfit. Just like pop star Rita Ora, who chose a Silhouette model, the Fisher Island from the Rimeless Shades collection, to get noticed. This bold butterfly frame combines minimalist, ultra-thin titanium with contoured oversized lenses highlighted by hand-colored edges. Paparazzi proof.

Fraises et Désirs
Fanciful, poetic and quality garments, one of the series leads to another, immediate love at first sight. The family-run Made in Italy slow fashion brand, founded by Giulia “Julie” Finocchi during the difficult period of the lockdown, could only be called Fraises et Désirs. A brand in which the products are entirely handmade, to order, after having researched and selected fabrics and yarns from local retailers. No stock, no waste, attention to detail and the priceless attention to tailoring. We fell in love with the Swan Lake mini cardigan, in hand-knitted knit with a swan-shaped pattern, also embroidered by hand. A fairytale-à-porter.

Inside leggings, tops, tank tops, bodysuits and bralettes there are also active ingredients such as vitamin A, vitamin E, caffeine and Aloe Vera which are activated immediately with body heat and ensure deep and constant hydration.

Ignasi Monreal x Etnia Barcelona
Fashion and art inspire each other in OJO Vol. 2, the second chapter of the limited edition collaboration between Etnia Barcelona and Ignasi Monreal. An imaginative collection with surrealist features, which draws inspiration from the work of John Berger Ways of Seeing to create glasses that play with the fantasy of having an extra pair of eyes, but made of jade. A single model for the sun declined in a triptych of colors: lavender, teal and havana, in which the stones set in the temples are associated with the heart chakra, that is the one linked to emotions and feelings. For a more eye-catching look!

The fourth season of the cult series Stranger Things has landed on Netflix and the hype about the characters that populate Hawkins, the Indiana town in the 80s where the mysterious events take place, is more feverish than ever. Eastpak has decided to launch a colab that sees a line of limited edition bags in a perfect Eighties mood, with neo-retro models reintroduced specifically for the occasion, together with new creations: backpacks and fanny packs made special by vintage vibes and hidden messages, which only true fans of the Upside Down will be able to decipher.
