In a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs published in Riyadh, it is stated that Saudi Arabia “condemns and denounces the continuous genocidal massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces (…) against the Palestinian people”; it stands by the fact that “the tents of defenseless Palestinians continue to be targeted of refugees” in Rafa. The kingdom holds Israel “absolutely responsible for what is happening in Rafah and all the occupied Palestinian territories” and condemns its “continuous flagrant violations of all international humanitarian decisions, laws and norms.” He demands that the international community “assume its responsibilities”, which, according to Saudi diplomacy, is now more necessary “than ever”.
