Saudi Arabia has condemned Israeli attacks in Gaza

The Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia today Sunday (16/5) condemned the “blatant violations” of Israel against the rights of the Palestinians and called on the international community to act urgently to end the military operations.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud made the remarks during a speech at the start of an emergency digital meeting of the 57-member Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) as hostilities between Israel and Gaza fighters entered their seventh day. notes the ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ.

The Saudi Foreign Minister condemned what he called a violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites and the “violent” expulsion of Palestinians from their homes in East Jerusalem.

He called on the international community to take responsibility for ending this “dangerous escalation”, to take urgent action to end military operations and to resume peace talks based on a two-state solution.
