The Foreign Ministry has given its consent for the opening of the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs of Saudi Arabia in Athens, according to diplomatic sources.
The establishment of this Office is expected to contribute to the further strengthening of ties between the two countries, through the development of bilateral trade and investment.
It is also a sign of the continuing strengthening of bilateral relations, in light of the recent visit of the Prime Minister to Riyadh, as well as the visit of the Saudi Foreign Minister to Athens a month ago.
During the meeting between the two Foreign Ministers in Athens, the creation of this Office was finalized and announced.
