Bethesda Softworks has shared details on when gamers will be able to transfer their accounts to the digital distribution platform Steam.

The fact that Bethesda decided to abandon its own PC launcher became known at the end of February 2022. Then it was reported that Bethesda users will be able to transfer their games and wallet to a Steam account in early April. However, today the company announced that the “move” can be started later – from April 27th.
As the developers emphasize, all Bethesda.net products will be available to gamers on Steam for free. All purchases will be transferred to your Steam account. In many cases, the transfer will extend to saved games as well, but this may require you to copy the files manually.
From May, gamers will no longer be able to use the Bethesda.net launcher to access games.
