The team of Sber Automotive Technologies (SberAutoTech), which is part of the Sber ecosystem, announced interesting news – unmanned vehicles began to run around Moscow and carry passengers.

So far, this is not a commercial launch, but a new stage of testing. As the press service of SberAutoTech notes, as part of the pilot project, drones run between the SberAutoTech engineering center and the ZIL MCC station, but only employees can order it.

An order can be placed through an app on a smartphone or using the SberPortal smart screen.

It is noted that the cars operate in a completely autonomous mode, but as required by law, a test engineer is present in the driver’s seat. A dedicated “passenger tablet” displays readiness to travel, seat belt status, trip status, and so on.
