The Deputy Chairman of the Board announced that Sberbank is starting a new stage in the development of its own CFA platform.

“In June 2023, individuals will be able to make transactions as part of the Sberbank project to issue digital financial assets,” Anatoly Popov assured

The Deputy Head of the Board noted that over the period that has passed since obtaining permission to launch the platform, the total issuance volumes on the CFA platform have reached significant amounts:

“Now we already have billions in terms of issues, and the number of CFA issues is approaching the third ten. It is expected that in the near future the largest borrowers should connect to the Sber platform and make new issues worth tens of billions of rubles.”

Earlier, Konstantin Klimenko, Product Director of the Sberbank Blockchain Laboratory, said that Sber is preparing for beta testing of its own platform.
