At the AI Journey conference, Sberbank presented its second supercomputer based on NVIDIA technologies called Christofari Neo. Its development was carried out by a subsidiary company SberCloud, which two years ago created the Christofari supercomputer – the most productive platform in Russia designed to work with AI algorithms.
The first model of the supercomputer has a performance of 6.67 petaflops and is in 61st place in the ranking of the top 500 most high-performance systems. The new supercomputer has 1.8 times more power – 11.95 petaflops. It is based on more than 700 NVIDIA A100 tensor cores with 80 GB of memory, thanks to which the platform can cope with large amounts of data, as well as with training the most complex AI models.
The SberDevices and Sber AI teams initially got access to the new Christofari. From November 1, the system will be available through the cloud platform for the development of AI services ML Space in SberCloud for both existing clients of the company and new ones. You can leave a request on the SberCloud website. By the way, now Sberbank has the only system in the world based on two Christofari & Christofari Neo supercomputers with a total capacity of 18.62 petaflops.
