The SberDevices team, part of the SberBank ecosystem, announced the launch of a beta version of Visper, an online platform for creating virtual characters.
As the developers note, using the service, any user can animate a presentation or create a video with virtual characters.
Such characters can be used to solve problems in various fields: in marketing, for online learning services, creating entertainment and news media content, as well as content for social networks.
In the near future, it is planned to significantly expand the capabilities of the Visper platform, including adding solutions for game developers. Based on Visper tools, developers will be able to create characters for games. During the beta testing stage, access to the platform is free.
By creating a virtual character, the user can:
- Choose the appearance of the character – various options for the image and style are available;
- Choose a voice model for synthesizing the character’s speech – neutral, friendly or business;
- Add gestures, for example, gestures of addressing or like – the character can say hello to the audience or address them during the story;
- Add an image or video to accompany the video with the character.
