SberBank announced the launch of a new product in the Sber ecosystem – its own operating system for TVs. The Salyut TV platform was developed by the SberDevices team.

In the near future, new TVs with diagonals from 43 to 75 inches and UHD 4K resolution from such manufacturers as Hyundai, BBK and so on, with pre-installed Salyut TV and support for Salyut virtual assistants should appear on sale. A little later, Full HD TVs with diagonals from 24 to 43 inches will appear.
As the developers note, does Salyut TV provide an intelligent recommendation system? video and audio content, easy access to the services of the Sberbank ecosystem, and, of course, shows familiar TV channels that can be watched without Wi-Fi.
Among the integrated services is the cloud gaming SberPlay; a virtual gamepad in the SberSalut mobile application can be used as a controller. The SmartMarket application store is also available, which already has various games (puzzles, arcades and sports simulators), streaming services, including Okko for watching movies, SberSvuk, an application for ordering products with the integrated Scooter service, and much more. A preinstalled browser is also offered, which can be used with a complete or virtual remote control.
The “Children’s Mode” is available, which is activated through the “SberSalut” application and blocks all “adult” content, as well as the ability to make payments.
TVs managed by Salyut TV will go on sale in June.
