Venezuela announced that it would develop Navy and unmanned aircraft ships to patrol its territorial waters in response to the United States mission to many warships in the Caribbean, as part of the efforts to combat its international trafficking. Armed Forces Minister Vladimir Pandrino said in a video message that he would send “naval patrols to the Venezuelan Gulf and larger ships north to our territorial waters”, and also announced “significant development”. Washington announced last week the development of three destroyers equipped with directed rockets and today the development of a rocket cruiser and a nuclear striker. According to US media, the Pentagon also intends to send 4,000 marines to the Caribbean near the Venezuelan coast. Source: RES
