A German -based technology company has managed to export confidential technology to Russia, even after the imposition of the new round of sanctions by the European Union against Vladimir Putin’s regime for the invasion of Ukraine. According to a study by Politico Magazine, Kontron, which is active in the EU, Britain and the US, used its subsidiary in Slovenia to export critical telecommunications technology worth more than 3.5m euros to its Russian branch at the end of 2023.
