Passengers of a cruise ship experienced a nightmare experience with huge 12 -meter waves hitting the ship as they crossed the wild waters of the famous Drake Passage. Lesley Ann Murphy, a travel blogger on board Ocean Explorer of Quark Expeditions, recorded a shocking video of the boat’s course through the giant waves and wild waters falling on it. According to the Daily Mail, Murphy estimated that some of the waves were between 9 to 12 meters, with the video showing the waves rising over the ship and landing on its windows.
