A 5-year-old girl was lucky when she was hit by a drunk driver, who crashed into the window of a driving school in Brazil. Footage from security cameras shows the girl jumping behind the window and eventually getting up and running away in terror.
The shocking incident took place on Saturday afternoon in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, according to Jam Press.
The car is seen crashing into the shop window as the child stands behind a plant. Next to her is a man, who runs and walks away, while the 5-year-old girl jumps through the window.
The child manages to run to the man, who embraces him. The little girl was only slightly injured, according to the examination that was carried out afterwards. The driver was taken to hospital with injuries to his leg.
The Authorities claim that the drunk driver had fallen asleep at the wheel at the time of the accident.
The attacker admitted that he had been drinking that day and said he could not remember the incident.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
