The scary moment of the collapse of a swimming pool in a luxury complex of 90 houses recorded a CCTV camera.
The incident that led to the injury of a person and forced 270 tenants to leave their apartments happened on April 22 in a residential complex in the state of Brazil, Espirito Santo.
In the shots it appears suddenly the bottom of the pool to come off and collapse, filling the areas of the apartment building with water and debris, which reached the garage of the complex.
“We went to the balcony and saw a lot of water coming out of the building, we went down quickly, grabbing some things,” said one of the tenants in Metro UK.
The cause of the collapse remains unknown, however many residents reported a strong smell of gas as the pool warmed up.
