Scholarships for postgraduate studies at leading universities from the Greek Higher Education and Research Institute

For the tenth consecutive year, the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group supports, through the “Proud of Youth” Corporate Responsibility program, excellent final students and University graduates who wish to continue their postgraduate studies at distinguished Universities in the United States, Europe and Greece.

The postgraduate programs concern the fields of Engineering and Energy, Economics and Management and Positive Sciences. The excellent students have already been selected to study in Greek and international university institutions of known prestige such as Harvard University, University of Bristol, University of Pennsylvania-Wharton School, Imperial College London, Utrecht University, HEC Paris, ETH Zürich, Eindhoven University of Technology , Athens University of Economics and University of Macedonia.

The award ceremony for 16 scholarships in total was held at the headquarters of the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group, with the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Managing Director and senior management officials congratulating the scholarship recipients, wishing them success in continuing their studies, distinctions in the scientific field of their choice and charting a successful career path.

In his statements, the Managing Director of the ELPE Group, Mr. Andreas Siamisii, pointed out: “We are constantly supporting the efforts of our young people, who, through their efforts to gain knowledge, seek to give perspective to their lives and their future. Through the Program “Proud of Youth”, we support the efforts of excellent students to pursue postgraduate studies at distinguished universities in Europe and America, in fields that are at the cutting edge of technological innovation and sustainability. HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group will always be at the side of the new generation, investing in the future of the country and contributing to the effort for a sustainable and better future for everyone.”

It should be noted that, through the “Proud of Youth” program, a total of 246 scholarships have been awarded for academic studies in Higher Education Institutions not only in Greece, but also in France, Germany, Switzerland, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, Norway and Netherlands. The main objective of the scholarship program is to reward the efforts of young people to learn and develop, by facilitating access to postgraduate programs, helping to cover the cost of tuition fees.

This specific initiative is another important action in the context of the Corporate Responsibility program, through which the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group will continue to practically support the new generation in realizing their dreams.
