The holiday declared by the city of Rio de Janeiro for this Monday (8) and Tuesday (9) should change the functioning of public services in the city, to facilitate the movement of world leaders and G20 delegations and the planning of events parallels.
The government of Rio de Janeiro also decreed that there will be no opening hours in the state’s public offices on these dates. The exception is services essential to the provision of immediate public services to the population of Rio de Janeiro. See what opens and what closes:

- Funeral services
- Wholesale establishments.
Industries located in the neighborhoods of the North Zone, Barra da Tijuca, Jacarepaguá, neighborhoods of the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro will also have normal working hours .

- Edges of beaches from Leme to Leblon
- Mauá Complex
- Tax Island
The international event is expected to change nearby tourist routes, known to locals and traveler destinations.
Parque do Flamengo, which houses monuments, concert halls and Cine Glória, in addition to MAM, will also be closed from this Friday (15). The shores of Praias do Leme to Leblon will not be open. Until the 20th of this month, walking along the coast will only be allowed on the boardwalk.
