Last year, Oppo and OnePlus officially announced the merger, but before that the companies worked together on smartphones. So much so that some OnePlus models turned out to be renamed Oppo devices. Judging by the data cited by the source, the brands did the same with the flagships OnePlus 10 Pro and Oppo Find X5 Pro: the characteristics of these two models are very similar.
OnePlus 10 Pro was presented the other day, its parameters are already fully known. As for the Oppo Find X5 Pro, it is assigned a 6.7-inch 2K resolution screen with a frame rate, a 32-megapixel front camera, a 5000 mAh battery with support for fast wired charging with 80 W and wireless – with a power of 50 W. The hardware platform of Oppo’s flagship will also be based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but the developers will complement it with the NPU MariSilicon X. So in terms of speeding up AI tasks, Find X5 Pro will be faster than its brother. Some changes will also affect the camera. While the OnePlus 10 Pro uses 48, 50 and 8 megapixel sensors, the Oppo Find X5 Pro will receive 50, 50 and 13 megapixel sensors. Moreover, the first two are the same – Sony IMX766, but they will be connected with different lenses – wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle. The Find X5 Pro camera will also be designed differently from OnePlus, but in its own recognizable style.
When the announcement of the Oppo Find X5 Pro will take place is not reported, but it is logical to expect the premiere in January or February.
