Seagate has released a special version of the FireCuda 520 PCIe 4.0 NVMe solid-state drive, the designers of which were inspired by the game Cyberpunk 2077. The novelty differs from the base model with a heatsink and packaging. Only 2077 of such drives will be produced.
The custom neon yellow radiator features the Cyberpunk logo and addressable full-color lighting. The manufacturer claims that the large aluminum heatsink can bring the SSD temperature down to 22 ° C, however, due to its size, some motherboards may have installation problems.
The 1TB drive uses a Phison PS5016-E16 controller and Toshiba 96-layer TLC NAND Flash. The sequential read speed reaches 5000 MB / s, sequential write – 4400 MB / s.
