Sean’s defense “Diddy” Combs plans to accuse cassie of domestic violence

Singer Sean lawyers “Diddy” Combs, 55, said on Friday that they plan to accuse the ex-girlfriend of the hip-hop typhole of domestic violence when she depuses her judgment for sex trafficking.

Combs stated innocent of an accusation of extortion conspiracy, two accusations of sex trafficking, and two prostitution shipping charges – all serious crimes. He can take decades or even life imprisonment if he is sentenced at the trial at the Federal Court of Manhattan.

Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo told US district judge Arun Subramanian during an audience on Friday that plans to show that there was mutual violence between Combs and his ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, who is expected to witness as the main witness of the accusation.

“I think we will probably refer to this as domestic violence,” said Agnifilo, arguing that Ventura’s alleged history of violence would harm the prosecutors that she was a victim.

Ventura’s lawyers refused to comment on agnifilo’s statements.

Subramanian seemed inclined not to allow the defense to present evidence of any supposed violence by chance, but said he would decide on the issue on Monday, when a jury of 12 New York should be finalized before the initial allegations of defense lawyers and promoters.

Combs, 55, was present at court on Friday, with gray hair and a sweater on a white shirt. He has been detained at a federal penitentiary in Brooklyn since his arrest last September.

Combs, a native of Harlem who founded the pioneer Bad Boy Records and discovered iconic rappers like Notorious Big, was arrested last September and has been detained at a Federal Brooklyn Penitentiary ever since.

The promoters of the US Attorney’s office in Manhattan say that for two decades, Combs used their business empire to attract women to their orbit with promises of romantic relationships or financial support, then coerced them to participate in drug performances, known as “freak offs”.

Comb lawyers said prosecutors are unduly seeking to criminalize Comb’s “Swinger lifestyle”. They signaled that they plan to attack the credibility of the alleged victims who will witness, seeking to show that they had financial incentives to accuse Combs. They said women gave inconsistent reports of alleged aggressions to investigators.

Subramanian said the trial will last about eight weeks, with the alternate jurors serving as reserves if the jurors cannot end. Any verdict must be unanimous.
