Auxílio Brasil broke a record of interest on the Google search site during the month of July.
In one month, searches for the benefit jumped 150% — which also means that interest more than doubled compared to last July.
The monthly interest record had been recorded in November 2021, when the benefit was created in August and began to be paid.
Among the terms with the highest growth next to “Auxílio Brasil” in the month of July are “August 2022 calendar” and “loan”.
The most sought-after question about the benefit this year was “How to receive assistance in Brazil”. The increase in polls for this question was 60% compared to the previous year.
In 2022, the states that most seek Auxílio Brasil are in the Northeast and North regions. In order, the 10 that search the most are: Maranhão, Piauí, Bahia, Pará, Sergipe, Ceará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Amapá and Amazonas.
Still in 2022, Maranhão will seek five times more for the subject than Santa Catarina, where there is less interest in the benefit. Maranhão searches four times more than the Federal District, the second FU with less searches.
In an interview with CNN the Minister of Citizenship, Ronaldo Bento, said that the federal government will guarantee the conditions to execute the payment of Auxílio Brasil in the amount of R$ 600 “as soon as possible”.
According to the schedule, the forecast is that the first installment will be made later this month, as provided for in the text of the Benefits PEC, approved last month by the Chamber of Deputies.
The minister defended that the measure was approved thanks to a “partnership with the National Congress” with the aim of “serving the families who need it most at this time of the global fuel crisis and the economic impact of the pandemic.”
