The park SeaWorld in OrlandoFlorida, confirmed last weekend that a new roller coaster will debut to the public in 2023 . The announcement comes just four months after the property’s sixth roller coaster, Icebreaker, opened in February this year.
With the surfing theme, the park shared a little information on social media. “Visitors are invited to prepare to feel the power of the Pacific here in Florida, letting the waves propel them into a unique ocean adventure,” SeaWorld revealed.
A short video previews some new features, such as the blue color of the new attraction and sharp turns at high speed – but its name remains a mystery.

In April, SeaWorld’s official Twitter account shared an image showing blue roller coaster tracks being transported on a truck, a hint that construction on a new attraction could begin soon.

Roller coaster record holder
With the new addition, the attraction will be the seventh within the park, which makes the SeaWorld is Orlando’s record-breaking roller coaster park.
In all, the Universal complex has nine roller coasters divided into two parks and the Walt Disney World Resort has eight roller coasters spread across four theme parks.
O SeaWorld is second only to Busch Gardens as the park with the most roller coasters in Florida . Located in Tampa, a city about 1h20 from Orlando, the amusement park is part of the SeaWorld entertainment group and has 10 roller coasters in an area of 136 hectares.
