O SeaWorld Orlando in Florida, announced the construction of the park’s eighth roller coaster.
Scheduled for 2024, the Penguin Trek will be a family attraction themed Antarctic penguins in which adventurers will participate in a “research mission”.
The roller coaster will have a launch format, in which the vehicle is launched at high speed in a short period of time. The maximum speed will be up to 70km/h and the cart will be shaped like a snowmobile, like a snowmobile.
The toy will mix indoor and outdoor environments and will go through curves and paths inside an “icy cave”.
At the end of the route, adventurers will pass through a real penguin habitat. The minimum height to enjoy the attraction will be 1.07 m.
With the announcement of the new attraction, the park reinforces its position as the record holder for the number of roller coasters in Orlando. It is worth remembering that SeaWorld is second only to the Busch Gardens as the park with the most roller coasters in the state of Florida, as the property in Cover It has 10 roller coasters.
The group even announced that the state’s parks no longer accept physical cash: purchases within the properties are now made only with cards.
