The second day of the National High School Examination (Enem) 2022, which took place this Sunday (20), recorded four arrests, 29 incidents and 53 police incidents. The arrests were not detailed by the authorities.

The numbers are from Operation Enem 2022, carried out across the country by federal and state security forces, under the coordination of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), through the Secretariat for Integrated Operations (Seopi).

During the stage, 1,889 bags containing the exam evidence were escorted, the work was monitored in real time by the Integrated Center for National Command and Control (CICCN), of the MJSP, in Brasília (DF).

In the states, monitoring was carried out by the State Integrated Command and Control Centers (CICCEs) or similar structures.

Despite the records, the second day of the exam took place peacefully and safely. Police occurrences did not interfere with the application of the test, the states with the highest number of occurrences were Ceará, Pernambuco and São Paulo.

The main cause of police occurrences was the disturbance of public peace, in the vicinity of the places where the exam was applied. Most of the incidents were caused by power outages.

Preliminary data from the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) show around 2,490,880 participants on the first day of application of the exam, on November 13th.

The number corresponds to 73.3% of the approximately 3.4 million subscribers in both versions (print and digital). Among the participants present, 2,458,504 took the tests in printed format, and 32,376, in digital format, using the computer.

In addition to the areas of languages, codes and their technologies, human sciences and their technologies, the exam had as its theme: “Challenges for the appreciation of communities and traditional peoples in Brazil”, for the writing test.
